Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2026

1. Agreement

These terms govern your use of GetPaidGently, a service operated by Rimantas Sederevicius (see Imprint). By creating an account, you agree to them.

2. What the service does

GetPaidGently lets you record invoices and send automated, gently-worded payment reminder emails to your clients on a schedule you control. Plans, features, and pricing are described on our pricing page and may change from time to time.

3. Your responsibilities

You're responsible for the accuracy of the invoices and client details you enter, and for having a genuine, lawful basis to bill and contact each client you add - GetPaidGently is a tool for collecting real debts, not for sending unsolicited email. You agree not to use the service to contact anyone who isn't a real client with a real outstanding invoice.

If a recipient tells us they weren't expecting an invoice, we may pause reminders on that invoice and, if this happens repeatedly, suspend or terminate your account.

4. Billing and cancellation

Paid plans are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis. Trials, if offered, convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled first. You can cancel anytime from your account's billing page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and we don't provide partial refunds for unused time unless required by law.

5. Data

How we handle your data and your clients' data is described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Availability and liability

We aim to keep GetPaidGently reliable but don't guarantee uninterrupted availability. To the extent permitted by law, GetPaidGently is provided "as is," and our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be excluded under mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence.

7. Termination

You may stop using GetPaidGently and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that misuse the service, don't pay, or violate these terms.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by Swiss law, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of your own country of residence.
